This class is for children over 6 months who are not yet walking. If your child is walking, please book the Walking to 2 years age group, even if they are under 18 months old. If your child is over 18 months old and not yet walking, please call to discuss the most suitable option.

The Tumble Tots programme begins with the Tumble Tots 6m - walking class. Babies must be at least 6m old, and sitting confidently to join the class.

Babies at all stages of mobility - from sitting, through crawling, cruising and up to early walking - are encouraged to explore what their bodies can do: rolling, stretching, standing, balancing, throwing, feeling, crawling, shuffling, climbing, holding, dropping, wobbling, toddling, bending, and more besides!

Our equipment is tailor-made for this age group, providing babies with space and time to develop their new skills. Parents tell us week after week how they have noticed a difference in their babies at home between classes - more confident, trying things they had not tried previously, recognising the classes when they arrive at the centre and being excited!

If your child moves up to the Walking-2s age group part way during the first half of a term or from the start of the second half of term, you will be asked to pay the additional class fees for Walking-2s from half term onwards. If your child moves up to the Walking-2s age group part way through the second half of a term, you won't be asked to pay extra, but the next block booked in the Walking-2s group will be at the standard price of £9.80 per session.

All children joining Tumble Tots after a trial class must become members of the National Tumble Tots Club in order to benefit from personal accident insurance during their classes, and they will also receive a great membership pack. Membership costs £29 annually, but is not required to attend a trial class.
